From California track to Honolulu which is 2100nm from San Francisco.

From Honolulu the next landing is either Pago Pago in Samoa [2270nm] or Nadi in Fiji [2751nm].

Sydney is 2300nm from Pago Pago via Norfolk Island.

Melbourne is 2740nm southwest from Pago Pago.

Brisbane is 1470nm westwards from Nadi via Noumea.

Via Honolulu / Majuro / Honiara

From California track to Honolulu which is 2100nm from San Francisco.

From Honolulu the next landing is Majuro, N07 05 E171 17 in the Marshall Islands [1980nm from Honolulu]. From here the usual landing is either Brisbane [2350nm] or Sydney [2750nm]. Both routes track via the town of Honiara S09 07 E160 01 with VOR 112.6

On occasions, both Nauru and Tarawa have also been used instead of Majuro.
